Puppy training with pads

As an understanding pet owner, you need to start learning how to train your puppy. Raising a puppy without training it is not feasible to build a happy and healthy dog. First of all, you have to teach your puppy how to use the training pads. These little pads are wonderful because they can teach you pup where it is ok to eliminate inside your home.

Training pads are one of the most useful items you can use to train your puppy where to go while housebreaking. Immediately after your puppy wakes up from a nap or meal (food time and around 1.5-3 hrs into sleep, poop time), bring them to the training pad right away Introduce it to them, praise them with kind words and show what is allowed. It may take your puppy a bit of time at first, but with perseverance and encouragement they will learn to how use the Kimlead puppy pee pee pads

Teaching your puppy to use training pads

So now you know that training your puppy well with pee pads is a much better option for successfully house breaking him The first point is to ensure that you have plenty of training pads so your puppy always has a place where they can if need be. And, just in case, it is a good idea to have extras laying around the house (little pads). Then, do your best to monitor when puppy will urinate and try timing the usage of pad. Whisk them to the pad before they go. This is going to help them understand that the Kimlead puppy dog pee pads use where they need to potty. Finally, be sure to praise your puppy when they go on the pad properly. This will motivate them to use the pad, and you get the chance of treating or petting and feeling good.

Over time, as your puppy grows and becomes more secure you will want to teach them that outside is where they go rather than on pads. To begin this process of training, at the least you can do is take him outside more regularly during the day Start to wean away some of the pads inside by slowly decreasing them. Pick an area outside in a designated spot where you want your puppy to pee or poop and take him there every time. This way, they soon realise that out there is your bathroom spot. As you can imagine, during this period of transition your puppy may have accidents in the house. If that happens, don’t worry. Followed by cleaning up the mess and continuing your training.
